The new ibis Styles Bucharest City Center is a big hotel. The 152 superior 3-star rooms are matrimonial, double and family rooms. Rooms reflect the hotel’s theme and feature traditional motifs as part of a modern, unique design. Ethnic symbols can be found on the wallpaper, on the carpet, on the TV stand and in the bathroom, on the ceramic tiles. Each floor of the hotel has an upbeat color – yellow, orange, green, blue – and invites guests to discover and experience them all.

Room prices are dynamic. For the opening, the price is promotional, starting from 38 euros and holiday vouchers are also accepted.

The hotel also has an underground car park with 50 spaces, kids’ corner and fitness room. The hotel has a casual restaurant, a lobby bar and a conference area with naturally lit meeting rooms, fitted with the latest multimedia equipment. The large hall, of 174 sqm, can host events in theatre style of up to 140 participants and cocktails of approximately 170 guests. The space has natural light and can also be divided into individual rooms of 32 sqm, 51 sqm and 83 sqm, respectively. These can host corporate events or private parties, trainings, workshops and business meetings starting from eight participants. The conference package starts from 99 lei per participant and includes renting the room for one day, with all audio-video equipment as standard, welcome coffee, coffee break, buffet lunch, afternoon coffee break and unlimited wifi internet in all across the hotel.

The hotel’s restaurant, Hanu’ de pe Știrbei, is traditional, casual, extremely welcoming, positioned right next to the street access to the hotel. The vivid colours and unique textures hrmoniously combine with traditional motifs. The menu is tasty, unsophisticated, accessible and brings up to date traditional dishes, seemingly simple, but tasty Romanian flavours. The restaurant is open from breakfast, which is always included in the accommodation rate. At lunch the offer takes the form of a buffet, and dinner can be served à la carte. The capacity of the restaurant is 112 seats inside, and the terrace has 20 seats.

“We are going through a difficult unprecedented, period, which is why we cannot compare it with any previous experiences. But, for sure, responsibility and creativity will be the winning qualities. I strongly believe that we will not stop traveling, it is just a test from which it is very important to learn. I also believe that people will be attracted primarily by chain hotels, precisely because they convey the safety of rigorous hygiene procedures that are constantly checked. We come up with a product that is positioned in the economy area, but which, through its design and the services offered, can always compete with midscale products. I think that the market needs a hotel like ours in central Bucharest, addressed to both tourists and business people, for short periods, but also longer stays”, concluded Alina Vlădulescu, GM of ibis Styles Bucharest City Center & Mercure Bucharest City Center.
