Biz magazine describes how the hospitality industry continues its activity in the pandemic and has written an article about the safety and prevention measures adopted by the ibis Styles Bucharest City Center hotel, since its opening in June 2020.
This year was marked by the opening of ibis Styles Bucharest City Center, a central 3-star hotel, with a theme extremely dear to Romanian and international tourists alike. It is about the transposition of the traditional Romanian symbols and motifs in an up-to-date story, with a unique design, conceived by the talented team from Arhi Grup. It was an atypical opening for the hotel in Știrbei Vodă 146, but the project is so beautiful and attractive that it cannot be overshadowed even by these unprecedented times.
The new ibis Styles has already gained its place as the new meeting destination on Știrbei, both for lunches and business events, as well as for personal travel. The success the hotel is starting to mark, even in a pandemic, guarantees a well-made choice both for the brand and for the theme and the team.
The new ibis Styles Bucharest City Center protects the health, safety and well-being of staff, guests and partners. The team works carefully and ensures that the operation of our hotels is carried out in maximum safety and in accordance with the regulations and instructions of local authorities.
Since reopening, the hotel has opted to implement a program developed by the Accor group in partnership with Bureau Veritas, namely the AllSafe label, through which it has adopted new measures and has been carefully audited with regard to their rigorous implementation.
The ALLSAFE label incorporates the new standards of cleanliness and prevention and certifies their compliance in Accor hotels. Specific safety and prevention measures are in place so that guests can be confident that they are being given a safe space. The hotel team has intensified the cleaning program in public areas, where surfaces are frequently disinfected and the system of online check-in, check-out and contactless payment has been implemented. Social distance applies in all common areas, and employees receive safety and hygiene training.
Hotel guests also benefit from a high level of care. Part of the ALLSAFE label, Accor provides medical support to guests throughout the hotel network, in partnership with AXA, global leader in insurance. Clients have access to the most modern telemedicine services, medical teleconsultations and the extensive network of professional medical services offered by AXA, through certified medical staff.
Alina Vlădulescu concludes: “Our idea was and remains to make sure that our guests can travel and be safe with us every day. We have the same message for the team and collaborators, because I strongly believe in the motto “c’est le ton qui fait la musique”. We all need to travel, to dream, to shape beautiful holidays, special moments with our loved ones. The hotel industry needs the help of each of us to continue. Receiving our guests safely and offering them memorable experiences, regardless of the scenario and epidemiological context is what inspires us and gives us courage. Thus, we continue to write beautiful stories and memories at Mercure Bucharest City Center and ibis Styles Bucharest City Center.”
